Visa Information for Finland, Sweden, and Norway (Schengen Visa)

As Finland, Sweden, and Norway are part of the Schengen Area, travelers from India need to apply for a Schengen Visa to visit these countries. The Schengen Visa allows you to travel freely between all countries in the Schengen Area for up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

General Visa Requirements
  • Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned date of departure from the Schengen Area.
  • Visa Application Form: Complete the Schengen visa application form (available on the embassy websites of Finland, Sweden, or Norway).
  • Passport-sized Photos: Two recent passport-sized photos, meeting the Schengen photo requirements.
  • Travel Itinerary:
    • Confirmed flight bookings (round-trip) for your entire travel within the Schengen Area.
    • Hotel reservations or accommodation details for each stay.
  • Travel Insurance: Proof of travel insurance with coverage of at least 30,000 euros for medical emergencies, including repatriation, valid for the entire Schengen Area.
  • Proof of Financial Means:
    • Bank statements from the last three months showing sufficient funds to cover your stay.
    • A letter from your employer, if applicable, or any other document that shows you can support yourself during the trip.
  • Visa Fee: The standard visa fee is approximately €80 (subject to changes) per applicant.
  • Covering Letter: A covering letter from your end stating the purpose of your visit, your travel dates, and your itinerary.
  • Additional Documents:
    • If traveling for business, a letter from your employer or a business invitation.
    • If visiting relatives or friends, an invitation letter may be required.
Application Processing Time
  • It usually takes 10 to 15 business days to process a Schengen Visa application. However, it is advisable to apply at least 15 days before your planned travel date.

When a Cancellation is Made

Within 30 days to the date of departure 100% of the tour cost
In case of No-Show 100% of the tour cost
Additional Charges
  • In the event of a cancellation, any expenses incurred by LGT Business Connextions Ltd. on visas, medical insurance, and administrative charges will be payable by the Client.
  • If the cancellation charges exceed the amount paid, the Client must settle the balance within 30 days.
  • For third-party products and services, cancellation rules and charges from the respective service providers will apply.
Refund Policy
  • There are no refunds for any unutilized services, including but not limited to tour cancellations due to unforeseeable circumstances or events beyond the control of LGT Business Connextions Limited.
  • Refunds (if any) will be processed in the name of LGT Business Connextions limited and may take at least 45 days to process.
  • Refunds related to foreign currency components will be made in Indian Rupees at the prevailing buying rate on the date of refund.
  • All refunds will incur a management fee of 5% on the total refund amount.

  • LGT Business Connextions Ltd. reserves the right to amend these policies at any time, and any such changes will be communicated to the Client in writing.
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to support@lgtholidays.com.
  • Cancellation charges apply to the total tour cost, including taxes and service fees.
  • Non-refundable services (such as visa fees, insurance, and government taxes) will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Special promotional offers and discounted packages may have unique cancellation policies, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
