Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
  • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to Moshi.
  • Check-in at the hotel and attend a pre-trek briefing with the guide.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Moshi.
Day 2: Moshi – Machame Gate – Machame Camp (3,000m)
  • Drive from Moshi to Machame Gate (1,800m).
  • Begin trek through rainforest zone to Machame Camp (3,000m).
  • Dinner and overnight at Machame Camp.
Day 3: Machame Camp – Shira Camp (3,840m)
  • Trek through moorland terrain with stunning views of Kibo Peak.
  • Reach Shira Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Shira Camp – Barranco Camp (3,950m) via Lava Tower (4,630m)
  • Acclimatization hike to Lava Tower (4,630m), then descend to Barranco Camp.
  • Enjoy dinner and overnight at Barranco Camp.
Day 5: Barranco Camp – Karanga Camp (4,035m)
  • Climb the Barranco Wall and continue towards Karanga Valley.
  • Overnight at Karanga Camp.
Day 6: Karanga Camp – Barafu Camp (4,600m)
  • Trek to Barafu Camp, the base camp for the summit attempt.
  • Early dinner and rest before midnight summit push.
Day 7: Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak (5,895m) – Descent to Mweka Camp (3,100m)
  • Start summit attempt at midnight, reaching Uhuru Peak by sunrise.
  • Descend to Mweka Camp for overnight stay.
Day 8: Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Moshi
  • Final descent to Mweka Gate.
  • Transfer to Moshi for a celebratory dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Departure
  • Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.

In case of No-Show 100% of the tour cost
Additional Charges
  • In the event of a cancellation, any expenses incurred by LGT Business Connextions Ltd. on visas, medical insurance, and administrative charges will be payable by the Client.
  • If the cancellation charges exceed the amount paid, the Client must settle the balance within 30 days.
  • For third-party products and services, cancellation rules and charges from the respective service providers will apply.
Refund Policy
  • There are no refunds for any unutilized services, including but not limited to tour cancellations due to unforeseeable circumstances or events beyond the control of LGT Business Connextions Limited.
  • Refunds (if any) will be processed in the name of LGT Business Connextions limited and may take at least 45 days to process.
  • Refunds related to foreign currency components will be made in Indian Rupees at the prevailing buying rate on the date of refund.
  • All refunds will incur a management fee of 5% on the total refund amount.

  • LGT Business Connextions Ltd. reserves the right to amend these policies at any time, and any such changes will be communicated to the Client in writing.
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to support@lgtholidays.com.
