Embark on an unforgettable journey through the surreal landscapes of Ladakh, where towering passes, tranquil monasteries, and shimmering lakes await. This 7-day adventure is designed to offer the perfect blend of culture, nature, and thrilling activities like river rafting and camel rides. Ideal for explorers seeking serenity, spirituality, and high-altitude adventure!

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Leh
  • Arrive at Kushok Bakula Airport in Leh (3500m above sea level) and transfer to your hotel.
  • Spend the afternoon at leisure for acclimatization.
  • In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, followed by a stroll through the local market.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Sham Valley
  • After breakfast, visit the Hall of Fame, Kali Mata Temple, and Spituk Gompa.
  • Explore Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, the mysterious Magnetic Hill, and the scenic confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.
  • White Water Rafting on the Zanskar River (Grade II-III rapids, available seasonally).
  • Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (125 kms / approx. 5-6 hours)
  • After breakfast, Drive to Nubra Valley via the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardungla (5550m).
  • Visit Deskit Monastery with its 106-ft Maitreya Buddha statue and enjoy a camel ride at the sand dunes of Hunder (on direct payment basis). ATV Ride through the rugged Nubra Valley terrain (optional).
  • Dinner and overnight stay at a camp/hotel in Nubra Valley.
Day 4: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake via Shyok Valley (170 kms / approx. 7 hours)
  • After breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) via the scenic Shyok Valley.
  • Camping under the stars near Pangong Lake & spend the afternoon relaxing. Stargazing & Night Photography session.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at a camp near Pangong Lake.
Day 5: Pangong – Leh via Changla Pass (160 kms / approx. 6.5 hours)
  • After breakfast, Witness the sunrise at Pangong Lake before driving back to Leh via Changla Pass (5486m).
  • Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.
  • Spend the evening shopping or relaxing at leisure or Rent a mountain bike and ride along the lake for an unforgettable experience.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: Tour of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Monastery
  • After breakfast, visit Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest in Ladakh.
  • Continue to Thiksey Monastery, known for its Maitreya Buddha statue, and Shey Palace, the former summer palace of Ladakhi kings.
  • Try traditional Ladakhi Archery – experience the local sport.
  • Return to Leh for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Departure
  • After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight, concluding your memorable Ladakh journey.
  • Depart with unforgettable memories of your journey through India’s Golden Triangle.

To confirm and secure your tour services, payments must be made as follows:
  • On acceptance of the tour & confirmation for blocking of services: 50% of the total tour cost.
  • 30 days before departure of the tour: 50% of the remaining tour cost.

When a Cancellation is Made

The Client must communicate cancellation requests in writing to LGT Holidays at the office address during office hours. The cancellation notice period will commence upon receipt of the written request. Cancellation charges apply as follows:

Cancellation Period Cancellation Charges Per Person
60 Days before departure 25% of the tour cost or Supplier cancellation charges, whichever is higher
Between 60 – 45 days before departure 50% of the tour cost or Supplier cancellation charges, whichever is higher
Between 45 – 30 days before departure 75% of the tour cost or Supplier cancellation charges, whichever is higher
Within 30 days to the date of departure 100% of the tour cost
In case of No-Show 100% of the tour cost
Additional Charges
  • In the event of cancellation, any expenses incurred by LGT Holidays on visas, medical insurance, and administrative charges will be payable by the Client.
  • If the cancellation charges exceed the amount paid, the Client must settle the balance within 30 days.

For third-party products and services, cancellation rules and charges from the respective service providers will apply.

Refund Policy
  • There are no refunds for any unutilized services for any reason, including but not limited to, tour cancellations due to Force Majeure or Vis Majeure events.
  • Refunds (if any) will be processed in the name of the Corporate / Client and may take at least 45 days to process.
  • For any refunds related to foreign currency components, the refund will be made in Indian Rupees at the prevailing buying rate on the date of refund.
  • All refunds will incur a management fee of 5% on the total refund amount.

  • LGT Business Connextions Ltd. reserves the right to amend these policies at any time, and any such changes will be communicated to the Client in writing.
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to support@lgtholidays.com.
  • Cancellation charges apply to the total tour cost, including taxes and service fees.
  • Non-refundable services (such as visa fees, insurance, and government taxes) will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Special promotional offers and discounted packages may have unique cancellation policies, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
